We are ideally looking for individuals with firsthand knowledge of the names being added (i.e. team PA announcers, play-by-play broadcasters, etc.). But anyone can become a Contributor as long as the names are thoroughly researched and MP3 files are of sufficient quality.
You can now login and begin to use the admin page immediately. The system features a built-in microphone, so you can record and upload the MP3 files directly from the admin page.
Yes. We also need help maintaining names already featured on the site. This includes changing the team category when a player is traded, updating the status info of an individual, etc.
All updates are subject to review by our editors. As soon as they are confirmed as accurate, they will be activated on the live site.
Yes. We are looking to expand The Name Engine with pronunciations of all types. So adding new categories is highly encouraged!
